This is a still life that I started working on today. It isn't finished yet and I'm afraid of over working it, something I've been known to do with a piece. I'm letting it dry so that I can go back into the lemon and work it's knobby end and give it more volume. Any suggestions?

This is a still life that I started working on today. It isn't finished yet and I'm afraid of over working it, something I've been known to do with a piece. I'm letting it dry so that I can go back into the lemon and work it's knobby end and give it more volume. Any suggestions?

sure -- I'd suggest a dark wash over the shadow area of the lemon so that the line between light and dark is more pronounced. Otherwise --looking good!
