Home sick in bed today but was able to muster up 20 minutes to complete this watercolor. I'm very pleased with the glass and not so much with the lemon. More practice with fruit for me!
oh -- yes, hmmm . . . maybe reserve more white (paper) for the lighter areas of the lemon next time -- establish the shadow first as a simplified large area -- bigger brushes earlier! :) Keep it up -- love seeing your work!
True about reserving more white. I initially did that but it was soon painted over. The original work is not as muddy as the photograph. Bigger brushes earlier, bigger brushes earlier...my new mantra! Thanks for your critique. :)
