Canada Goose

18" x 24" Oil on Canvas

Here is a painting I did in 2003. Here is another example of my appeal to reflections and water, not to mention my absolute love of nature and wildlife. On occasion I will find myself birding in this lovely area called the Berkshires. I haven't really come up with a name for this goose though it stands tall and proud and deserves a name besides "Canada Goose". Enjoy her as much as I have.

I love having your goose in our home because it reminds me of many birding experiences in beautiful places.

this is a great composition. It really shows off the regal quality of the Canada goose.
Well done, a birder and a painter...A great combo.

Thanks Peter for your kind words. Canada Geese are truly beautiful creatures...we forget.

Hi Lisa,
Just came across your blogsite while searching for other painter's blogs. Keep painting Lisa, you obviously enjoy it, and your work is nice.
